Everyone has a Wishlist and this is mine!

Every bibliophile has a wishlist of books. If not a wishlist, then there’s always a book that they have always wanted to read, but they haven’t, yet. So, in this article, I’ll show you my book wishlist.

“If you remember me, then I don’t care if everyone else forgets.”

Kafka on the Shore
by Haruki Murakami

Kafka on The Shore

I’ve heard of Haruki Murakami a lot and then someone suggested me this book. She told me that after reading this book, either you’re going to fall in love with Murakami or just start hating him. There’s nothing in between!

Written from two different perspectives, one of Kafka Tamura, who runs away from home at fifteen and Nakata, an old man who because of a bizarre childhood affliction loses his intellect but can talk to cats, this book amazes me so much that it is on top of my wishlist and one day I’ll definitely buy it.

“History is something that very few people have been doing while everyone else was plowing fields and carrying water buckets.”

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind
by Yuval Noah Harari

Sapiens Book

A book that I think is the oldest one in my wishlist. I’ve always wanted to read it. People like Bill Gates and I mean everyone just praise this book. According to the synopsis of the book, it covers a brief history of humankind. And who doesn’t want to read about it?

People say that with every page turn you’ll become smarter or at least you’ll feel like you’re getting smarter. I really keenly want to read this book and I will soon!

“The best minds of my generation are thinking about how to make people click ads”

Elon Musk
by Ashlee Vance

Elon Musk book

Elon Musk! A year ago I didn’t know who he was but since last 6-7 months I’ve been watching his videos on youtube and reading about him on the internet and for me, it’s not enough. I just want to read about the man I idolize, as much as I can. I just love him. Many of you might not know but he is the inspiration for Iron Man’s Tony Stark 😉 Cool isn’t it?

“Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.”

1984
by George Orwell

1984 by George Orwell

Well, I don’t know if I should put this book in this list or not because last week I’ve already bought this book, though I haven’t started reading it.

I became a huge fan of George Orwell, after reading his Animal Farm and that love attracted me to this book.

George Orwell wrote this book in 1949 by visualizing a future where the government is controlling and monitoring the activity of their citizens. He sort of predicted the future and I haven’t read the book but read in a review that he has predicted even the Internet up to an extent.

I will start reading this book from this night and will soon post a review!
